Cathy Tarrant, the owner of Homestyling by Cathy, has always enjoyed home decor, space planning and design in general.  So....after her children were almost 'grown up', she went back to college in 2006 and did the Interior Decorating course at Academy Canada where she won the gold medal for the highest marks in her class.  Shortly after she moved to Ottawa for one year for her husband to complete his sabbatical.  While there, she completed the home staging and re-design course through the Haverhill Institute.  Since moving back home to St. John's in August 2009, she has completed a training course  with Certified Staging Professionals ......(the first class ever taught in NL) ,  and is now a Certified Staging Professional.
